Life I don't know how 40 years passed so quickly but that is the fact since I left the Grove. I don't miss it at all. At the time, it was all we knew from what we were told and just accept it and become the next generation for Uncle DuPont. Once I crossed the bridge, I spent four years in California. There I audited classes at numerous campuses during the 60's. At various times, I visited what was my hometown but I just outgrown the small town, a mind set whose vision was not for me. I attended college from 1993 to 1996. As an enrolled student, Honor roll twice but the Grove did not pay homage.. When I graduated in June 1996, I just kicked back. Living here in tropical Fort Myers Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico, This region has become my home. In fact, I bought a home and God be praised for all things. I am not a slave to fossil burning vehicles but ride a bicyle or use the bus. I love it. No snow, no DuPont smells, no negativity, or haunting shadows from past youthful injustice, indiscretions and I can be ingenuous above apathy. I became a certified Apiarist. Living the Apiarian life has become my outward statement, a small imput to being a responsible steward to Earth and thanking God for a wonderful life. My yard contains benevolent plants for my honeybees and not some aesthetic process which has no function beyond vanity. Now that my honeybees are fed, for water, I dug a 7,000 gallon pond, their water sourse and free of contaminates but stocked with some Koi I care for while sitting on the deck I built.
